During an appearance on Loose Women today, the likes of Ruth Langsford accidentally walked past the former Emmerdale actress, not realising who she was.
“I think this is great,” she gushed afterwards. “This is the reaction I never thought I could get.
“To be honest, it’s still hard to see my reflection because I look so different. It’s insane when I look back at old photos. I am so proud of what I’ve achieved – but I needed to do it. I am so happy now.
“Don’t get me wrong, I’m never going to be Kate Moss. But sometimes, I get old clothes out of my wardrobe and when I try them on, they fit like a tent!
“I would like to stress that I don’t believe in fad diets or anything like that. I don’t believe in diets where you’re allowed to cheat. I f you’re going to do something, do it properly. I lost the weight the sensible way.”
Opening up about why she decided to lose so much weight, Lisa explained that a visit to see her father in hospital was her motivation.
“He was taken in because doctors were looking for prostate cancer – he’s come out the other end now,” she added. “However, while I was on the hospital ward to see him, I noticed there were 21 men with Type 2 diabetes. I didn’t want to be another statistic and so the fear factor kicked in. It was like a bulb going off in my head.”
In a bid to lose weight, Lisa then started eating healthier food, enrolled in local zumba and yoga classes and cut out alcohol completely.
However, she does occasionally still get cravings for chocolate and crisps and when she does, she allows herself to have some – but only in moderation.
Though there is no cure, anti-viral drugs allow most sufferers who take them to live lengthy and healthy lives.
It can however develop into Aids, a more seriously and potentially fatal condition where the body is too weak to fight off infections.
The National Enquirer claims Prince was diagnosed with HIV back in the 1990s, but it developed into Aids at the end of last year.
A statement from Prince’s family and friend’s issued shortly after his death said it was caused by influenza, an illness which could prove fatal to an Aids sufferer due to their weakened immune defences.
Representatives for Prince are yet to respond to the allegations.
First Top 10 hit
From his album 1999, Little Red Corvette was his first single to reach the Top 10 in the US, peaking at number 6. The breakthrough hit attracted a rock audience and it was his first song to perform better on the pop chart than the R&B chart.
Purple Rain, the soundtrack from the film of the same name, was Prince’s first album to be recorded with his backing group The Revolution. Deemed the most pop-orientated album the artist ever made, it included the smash hits When Doves Cry and the song Purple Rain. The album topped the charts for six months and secured Prince’s place in rock history. When Doves Cry was the US single of the year and topped the American charts for five weeks, preventing Bruce Springsteen’s Dancing In the Darkfrom reaching number one.
Sign O’ The Times
At the height of his pop powers, this boldly free-ranging and charmingly messy double album showcased Prince diving into electrofunk, soul, psychedelia, heavy rock, gospel, blues and folk to bring back messages from the dark side of Eighties angst, taking its cue from the taut, apocalyptic title track.
The Artist Formerly Known As…
In the early-’90s, Prince had a huge falling out with his label Warner Bros. over differences in the details in his contract. The year before, he released his 12th album Love Symbol Album, with its unpronounceable symbol on the cover (later copyrighted as Love Symbol #2). The label wanted the album’s song 7 to be the first single but Prince insisted on releasing My Name Is Prince. He got his way but the song only reached a disappointing number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100. The following year, he changed his name to the album’s symbol. With most people unsure how to pronounce the ‘squiggle’, the press referred to Prince as ‘The Artist Formerly Known As Prince’.
Becomes Prince again
Prince stopped using the Love Symbol as his name and returned to using ‘Prince’ again.
Grammy Awards performance
Prince opened the Grammy Awards with Beyonce, performing his songs Purple Rain, Let’s Go Crazy, and Baby I’m a Star, along with Beyonce’s Crazy in Love.
Inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
During the closing ceremony, he teamed up with Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff Lynne and others, and played rip-roaring version of the song-ending solo on George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
In August and September of 2007, Prince played a 21 date residency at London’s O2 arena. Over 350,000 fans attended and the series made a reported $22,052,026 in revenue.
Inducted into Grammy Hall of Fame
The Recording Academy adds Prince’s album Purple Rain into the Grammy’s Hall of Fame, alongside Ray Charles’ Genius + Soul = Jazz, Weather Report’sHeavy Weather and singles such as The Beatles’ Penny Lane and The Animals’ We Gotta Get out of This Place.
Secret London gigs

Five famous couples who were able to overcome reports of infidelity. Check the article below for more information about these 5 celebrity couples.
It’s no secret that having a long, lasting marriage in Hollywood isn’t the easiest task.
Between the public scrutiny, unpredictable work schedules and more than a little temptation, so many pairs just can’t seem to make it work.
However, that doesn’t mean that couples have to throw in the towel the minute speculation surfaces about their marriage.
In the wake of Beyoncé’s sixth studio album titled Lemonade, some fans have immediately begun to wonder if those juicy lyrics about love, heartbreak and cheating could be about her relationship with Jay Z. For the record, neither party has ever confirmed marital troubles and Beyoncé’s dad believes the album is “talking about you and everybody that is you.”
But with the recent speculation, we decided to take a look at five famous couples who were able to overcome reports of infidelity. As a wise person once said, they didn’t say marriage would be easy. But they did say it would be worth it.
1. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott
Fans of True Tori know that the couple has had one roller coaster of a romance. But after a lot of therapy, hard work and dedication, Tori is ready to move forward following her husband’s cheating. “I can 100 percent move past the infidelity,” she shared with E! News’ Jason Kennedy and Maria Menounos. “I believe that women have the power and it was a choice and people can judge me and say, ‘Well she stayed with him.’ But I think it’s more powerful to make the choice to try to heal the relationship and work on it and work through it if you truly love someone.”
2. Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus
In a revealing interview with Rolling Stone back in 2013, the rapper opened up about a phase in his life where he wasn’t exactly faithful. “I did a Playboy tour, and I had a bus follow me with 10 bitches on it. I could fire a bitch, f–k a bitch, get a new ho: It was my program,” he shared with the publication. “It was never about the money; it was about the fascination of being a pimp.” Through it all, Snoop’s wife stayed with him. “I love her to this day because she coulda shook out on a n–ga, but she stayed in my corner,” he explained. “So when I decided to let it go, she was still there.”
3. Fergie and Josh Duhamel
Nine months into their marriage, the Black Eyed Peas singer faced tabloid allegations that her husband was unfaithful in the marriage. During a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, Fergie ultimately admitted that the reports only made the pair stronger. “It was difficult. When you go through difficult times, it really makes you stronger as a unit, as a partnership,” she explained. “It does for us, anyways. Our love today is a deeper love, definitely.” As for Josh, he has always denied any one-night stands calling them “absolutely ridiculous.” “What it did, is it put me in check and made me realize, OK, what kind of man do you want to be?” he said on Oprah’s Next Chapter. “I’m actually thankful that it did happen, because, in a lot of ways it made me straighten my a– out.”
4. David Letterman and Regina Lasko
After it was revealed that David had an intimate relationship with former Late Show assistant Stephanie Birkitt, the late-night host apologized to his wife on television in front of millions of viewers. “She has been horribly hurt by my behavior, and when something happens like that, if you hurt a person and it’s your responsibility, you try to fix it,” he explained in 2009.”And at that point, there’s only two things that can happen. Either you’re going to make some progress and get it fixed, or you’re going to fall short and perhaps not get it fixed, so let me tell you folks, I got my work cut out for me.” The couple remains together today.
5. Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant
After the Los Angeles Lakers player admitted to infidelity back in 2003, Kobe reportedly dropped $4 million on a make-up ring for his wife. In addition, the couple held a $50,000 recommitment ceremony just two years later. While the couple filed (and then called off) their divorce, both parties remain together. “I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family,” the NBA player said. “When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers! Much luv, Mamba out.”
The former Capital FM presenter gave Kim Kardashian a run for her money after sharing a naked selfie with her 44k followers.
Posing without a scrap of makeup, she showed off her impressive figure as she stretched in bed.
We have SERIOUS body envy right now!
The 44 year old captioned it: “Morning Monday – rise and shine!!”
Lisa’s fans were quick to praise the racy snap, with one commenting: “Beautiful even first thing in the morning! x,” while another said: “Totally sexy the perfect woman.”

An Instagram user wrote: “Fantastic view on a Monday morning,” with a string of emojis. A follower added: “Wow beyond stunningly beautiful.”
However, this isn’t the first time the former Britain’s Next Top Model judge has set pulses racing with intimate photos.
Earlier this year, she uploaded a snap of her wearing nothing but a fishnet onesie, looking provocatively over her shoulder at the camera. It appeared to be a throwback to her modelling days. Alongside the shot, she wrote: “Happy Hump Day! Styled by @Iaineysy.”
Rita Ora has issued a personal denial on Twitter over claims she is the woman with whom Jay Z, Beyoncé’s husband, allegedly had an affair with after the superstar’s fans were quick to blame her.
Although rumours that the rapper cheated on Beyoncé have been around since her sister, Solange Knowles, attacked him in a lift in May 2014, they have been given further credence after the release of Lemonade, a visual album.
Songs on the acclaimed album from Beyoncé include lyrics such as “You can taste the dishonesty / It’s all over your breath as you pass it off so cavalier” on Pray You Catch Me and “He only want me when I’m not there / He better call Becky with the good hair”.
Fans of Beyoncé – dubbed collectively as the Beyhive – have been chasing who ‘Becky’ might be including Rachel Roy, a fashion designer, who faced a social media storm after a post on Instagram after the release of Lemonade. Roy has also denied the rumours.
On the photo-sharing website, Roy shared an image with the caption: “Good hair don’t care but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. Live in the light #nodramaqueens.”
And soon after, Rita Ora was accused of being the other woman afterwearing a Gucci dress that the singer wore in recent Formation music video, which also features on the album and addresses the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
Ora, who Jay Z signed to his label Roc Nation in 2008, denied the rumours on Tuesday, saying: “I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false.”
Among many images that were used to accuse Ora, one was an image of the poster of the 1973 film, Ash Wednesday, that she shared on her Instagram page. In the film which features Elizabeth Taylor, a woman fears she is losing her husband.
Here are some questions many still have after listening to Beyoncé Lemonade. We may have to wait some time for answers since Beyoncé has not commented yet.
As Beyoncé Lemonade aired at HBO special, on Saturday night, the Internet quickly lost its collective mind. Speculation over what the 12-track visual album meant fo rBeyoncé and husband Jay Z swirled as many saw the project as a statement about the status of her relationship with the 46-year-old rapper.
Here are some questions many still have after listening to Lemonade. We may have to wait some time for answers since Beyonce has not commented on the album and rarely sits for interviews.
1. What is the status of Beyoncé and Jay’s relationship?
Blunt lyrics like, “If you try this sh—t again, you’re gonna lose your wife,” and, “Today I regret the night I put that ring on,” led many to view Lemonade as Beyoncé’s public acknowledgement of marital discord with Jay Z. While some heard in the album a prelude to divorce, others found in the recordings a carefully orchestrated publicity stunt by the husband-wife team.
2. Who is Becky and how could she possibly have better hair than Beyoncé?
Despite the irony of Queen B commenting on the fabulousness of anyone else’s hair, one of the biggest talking points from the album has been the lyric, “He only want me when I’m not on there / He better call Becky with the good hair.”
Many fans suggested this line was a reference to Rachel Roy — a fashion designer and the ex-wife of Jay Z’s former business partner Damon Dash — who posted a photo on her now-private Instagram hours after theLemonade special debuted with the caption, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens.”
3. What role did Beyoncé’s father play?
While many viewers saw Jay Z as the focal point of Lemonade‘s lyrics, another man is mentioned several times throughout the album — Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles. In lyrics such as, “You remind me of my father, a magician / Able to exist in two places at once,” and, “When trouble comes to town / And men like me come around / Oh, my daddy said shoot,” some heard accusations of infidelity.
Knowles and Beyonce’s mother Tina finalized their divorced in 2011.
4. Was Jay Z in on the whole thing?
It’s difficult not to at least consider this move from a strictly business perspective. While Lemonade does seem to take listeners on a journey through the ups and down of Beyoncé’s marriage, it was also released exclusively on Tidal — Jay Z’s music streaming platform. The Roc Nation owner also appeared in the HBO special, leading many to speculate how much of the drama was manufactured to increase album sales.
5. Why won’t Bey tell us what her lyrics mean?
Of course, Beyoncé could easily clear much of this confusion up by explaining what her intentions were with Lemonade. However, the notoriously private star rarely gives interviews, preferring to let her artistic output speak for itself — so don’t hold your breath for a tell-all anytime soon.
Katherine Jenkins narrowly avoids vomiting on Sunday Brunch as she struggles during live beer tasting segment. Check the article below!
It’s safe to say Katherine Jenkins isn’t a big beer drinker.
The classical singer narrowly avoided vomiting on live television on Sunday after taking part in a beer tasting session.
The Welsh beauty, 35, couldn’t hide her disgust as she sipped strong German beer Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock on Sunday Brunch over the weekend.
Katherine was on the show to promote her new album Celebration and joined hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer to try out some ‘marathon beers’ in honour of the London Marathon.
As the strong malty brew was introduced by beer expert Sarah Warman, co-host Simon warned the singer ‘you really won’t like this one Katherine’.
Sarah added: ‘It’s a little bit boozier, a little bit stronger, darker as well.’
After sipping the dark liquid, Katherine looked like she was about to puke and didn’t hold back with her opinion.
In between retching, she said: ‘That’s like medicine, it’s like medicine.’
She quickly reached for a glass of water in an attempt to get rid of the taste, as expert Sarah explained the drink – which had a 6.7 per cent volume – was popular with Franciscan monks in the past.
Katherine’s reaction to the beer was clearly entertaining to some of the viewers watching at home.
One audience member tweeted: ‘Katherine Jenkins on #sundaybrunch drinking the beer is amazing!!!! #Faces #Beer.’
Another was sympathetic: ‘Poor Katherine Jenkins being made to drink f**king awful hipster beers on #SundayBrunch :(.’
While Katherine didn’t comment on her beer-drinking session on social media, she did hit back at a Twitter critic who accused her of breaking her supposed ‘vegetarian diet’ when she sampled some of the food.
He wrote: ‘@KathJenkins tucking in to a prawn based pancake does not make you a vegetarian.’
However, she quickly set him straight by informing him she was, in fact, a pescetarian, tweeting: ‘No, it makes me a pescetarian! Happy Sunday!’
The rapper shared some selfies on Instagram during a trip to Miami and she has undergone a dramatic transformation
Lil’ Kim looks completely different in a series of selfies showing off her transformation.
The 41-year-old rapper has changed a lot over the years, and appeared to have lighter – and more taut – skin in snaps taken in Miami over the weekend.
With a blonde wing and a pale look, the Grammy award winner is barely recognizable from her earlier years in the photos as she displayed her dramatic new image for her followers in a collage on Instagram.
The star has sparked speculation in the past that she has undergone plastic surgery, and fans voiced their concern on the photo sharing website after the latest images.
One wrote: “Lil Kim transformation is actually pretty sad. I pray none of ya’ll dislike yourselves that much.”
Another added: “lil Kim is a prime example of why internal confidence is so important.”
Despite some people criticising Kim – real name Kimberly Jones – many continued to show their support for the former Junior M.A.F.I.A. star.
